Curated library of patient education materials organized by condition, procedure, and specialty. Providers prescribe education during encounters; patients access materials in their portal.

Content Library

• Organized by condition (diabetes, hypertension, asthma), procedure (post-op care, wound management), and specialty (ABA, dental, mental health)
• Supports text, images, and embedded video content
• Searchable by keyword, condition code, or specialty tag
• Version-controlled — updates to materials are tracked with publish dates

Prescribing Education

Providers can "prescribe" education materials during an encounter:

1. Open the patient's chart during the visit
2. Search or browse the education library
3. Assign one or more materials to the patient
4. Materials appear in the Patient Portal immediately
5. Read-tracking — the system records when the patient opens and reads each item for compliance monitoring

Multi-Language Support

• Education materials available in 16 languages matching the platform's i18n support
• Automatic language selection based on the patient's language preference in their chart
• Providers can manually override the language for a specific assignment
• RTL (right-to-left) languages supported for Arabic and Hebrew content

Custom Content

Practices can create and publish custom education materials:

• Rich text editor with image embedding, headers, and formatting
• Printable PDF generation for handouts during in-person visits
• Template library — save custom materials as reusable templates

Integration with Clinical Notes

When education is prescribed during a visit, it's automatically documented in the encounter note — creating an audit trail for insurance and compliance purposes.
