Synalux POS — Quick Start Guide
Get your restaurant POS up and running in under 30 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Go to synalux.ai/pricing and choose a plan
Complete the sign-up process with your business email
You'll be redirected to your dashboard
Step 2: Set Up Your Menu
Navigate to POS → Menu Builder in the sidebar
Create Categories (e.g., Appetizers, Entrees, Drinks)
Add Items to each category with name, price, and modifiers
Set up Modifier Groups for customizations (size, toppings, cooking temp)
Step 3: Configure Your Floor Plan
Go to POS → Tables & Floor Plan
Drag and drop tables onto the floor plan
Assign table numbers and capacities
Create sections if you have multiple dining areas
Step 4: Set Up Payment Processing
Navigate to POS → Settings → Payments
Connect your payment processor (Shift4, Stripe, or compatible terminal)
Configure tax rates for your jurisdiction
Enable tips if applicable
Step 5: Add Staff
Go to POS → Staff & Labor
Add employees with their roles (manager, server, cashier, kitchen)
Set up PINs for quick clock-in
Configure role-based permissions
Step 6: Launch!
Open the POS register on any device with a browser
Log in with your staff PIN
