The Scheduling & Appointments module within Synalux is designed to streamline appointment management across providers and practices, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication with patients.
Appointment States
Synalux’s platform supports a robust lifecycle for appointments, progressing from Scheduled to Confirmed, then to In-Progress, and finally to Completed. This state progression helps in tracking the status of each appointment accurately. Additionally, appointments can be marked as Cancelled, No-show, or Rescheduled to account for any changes or issues that may arise.
Patient Portal Requests
Patients can request appointments directly through the Synalux patient portal, specifying their preferred date and time. Staff members receive these requests and have the ability to confirm or deny them based on availability and practice policy. This feature enhances patient engagement and streamlines communication between patients and staff.
Multi-Provider
The module supports scheduling across multiple providers within a single practice. This functionality allows for seamless management of schedules, enabling practices to allocate appointments efficiently among available healthcare professionals. It ensures that the right provider is booked for each appointment, enhancing service quality and patient satisfaction.
Recurring Visits
Synalux’s platform facilitates the scheduling of recurring visits, such as weekly therapy sessions, monthly check-ups, or orthopedic adjustments. This feature not only simplifies the scheduling process but also helps in maintaining consistent care schedules for patients requiring ongoing treatments. Recurring appointments can be set up easily through the patient portal or by staff members.
Waitlist
In cases where all available slots are filled, Synalux provides a waitlist feature to manage additional appointment requests. Patients who request an appointment when no immediate slots are available can be added to the waitlist and will be notified as soon as a suitable time becomes available. This ensures that patient needs are accommodated without disrupting existing schedules.
Reminders
Automated appointment reminders are a planned feature in Synalux’s Scheduling & Appointments module. These reminders will help ensure that patients do not miss their appointments by sending timely notifications via email or SMS. This feature aims to reduce no-show rates and improve overall practice efficiency.
