Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing a product or service operated by Synalux LLC, an Independent software vendor (ISV) located at 18218 Fox Chase Cir, Olney, MD 20832, United States, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The Service

Synalux services include Synalux Health practice-management software, Synalux POS restaurant and hospitality operations software, and the Prism AAC, PrismCoach, Prism MCP, and Prism Coder product family. Features vary by product and subscription.

3. Communications and SMS programs

Transactional SMS is optional. A user receives messages only after selecting the separate optional written web checkbox for that program. Each checkbox is unchecked by default, is separate from these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and is not required to create an account or receive services.

  • POS toll-free program: Order confirmations, Secure payment links and payment receipts, Pickup and delivery notifications, Customer-care responses; typically 1–3 messages per order, up to 15 messages per month.
  • Healthcare program: Appointment reminders, Telehealth session links, Billing notifications; typically 2–8 messages per month.
  • Authentication: Login and two-factor codes use a separate flow and are not bundled with either transactional program.

The POS toll-free program is separate from the healthcare program. Only the POS and customer-care checkbox is referenced by the current toll-free verification submission. Consent is not inferred from booking an appointment, placing an order, or accepting these Terms. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Synalux does not send marketing or promotional messages under these programs. See the SMS consent policy and Privacy Policy.

4. HIPAA & PHI

If you are a healthcare provider, Synalux acts as a HIPAA Business Associate. A BAA is included in our subscription agreement. Synalux encrypts PHI at rest with AES-256-GCM and logs every access to PHI via a tamper-evident audit chain.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to violate any law, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, attempt to circumvent security controls, or send unsolicited bulk messages. Synalux may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Liability

Synalux is provided “as is.” Synalux is not a medical service and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. For emergencies, call your local emergency number (911 in the US).

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
