1. Healthcare & Clinical Use

Synalux AI is an assistant tool designed to support developers, healthcare professionals, and behavior analysts. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical outputs, including SOAP notes, FBA drafts, and behavior intervention plans, are generated by artificial intelligence and must be carefully reviewed, verified, and approved by a licensed, certified, or otherwise qualified healthcare professional (e.g., a Doctor, Medical Technician, or therapist) before being used in clinical decision-making or patient care.

2. HIPAA & Data Privacy

While Synalux provides features designed to support HIPAA compliance (such as local model execution and AES-256-GCM encryption layers), it is the ultimate responsibility of the Covered Entity or Business Associate to ensure that their deployment and usage of Synalux meets all federal and state regulatory requirements. Synalux does not automatically guarantee HIPAA compliance simply by use.

3. Software License (BSL-1.1)

The Synalux application and its source code are licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL-1.1). You may copy, modify, and use the software for non-production purposes. Production use is permitted only as outlined in the additional use grant or after the Change Date, at which point the software transitions to an open-source license. Synalux is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
